The total area of ​​Bach Ma National Park is expanded about 15,000 ha, of which Quang Nam province is 3,600 ha, including sub-areas 42; 52; 56, the rest is toward the mountainous district of Nam Dong, in the province of Thua Thien-Hue, bringing the total area of ​​the garden to over 22,000 hectares to over 37,000 hectares.

The Government has also assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, and at the same time direct Bach Ma National Park to build an investment project to expand the area, build and develop Bach National Park. Bach Ma National Park has up to 10,000 ha of forest belonging to monsoon tropical forest and monsoon tropical monsoon forest, with many precious timber trees such as saplings, palms, incense sticks, cam lai, trac, and incense. The forest has more than 1,400 species of trees, including 86 species listed in the Vietnam Red Book, with at least 3 endemic species named Bach Ma.

The fauna here is also rich with many rare and endemic species. So far, scientists have found 931 animals in Bach Ma. Among them, up to 68 species have been included in the Vietnam Red Book and the world such as pheasant trellis, blue turkey pheasant, white pheasant, five-color langur, white cheeked gibbon. In particular, scientists also discovered many new mammals such as saola, Truong Son and large gills.
