The ground heaves like a bubble

The surface of the earth heaving due to methane leakage by global warming is the latest phenomenon recorded by scientists.

According to the Siberian Times, in recent years, giant pits suddenly appeared in northern Siberia determined by gas eruptions, causing the permafrost to melt beneath the Earth's surface.

The latest phenomenon is noted that the ground of Belyy Island is made of hard rock and permafrost, swaying due to methane and CO ₂ leaks.
