Italian industrial designer Michele Puzzolante has introduced a very luxurious hotel called Solar Floating Resort. A special feature is that the roofs with solar cells will provide energy for this hotel to operate without other power sources.
Solar Floating Resort is navigated to operate along the coast, accommodating 6 people. Guests can observe the Observation Bulb's submerged marine life underneath this hotel.
Solar Floating Resort is 20m long, consists of 2 double rooms and 2 single rooms, all with private bathrooms on the premises of 110m2. Furniture includes kitchen, dining room, lobby and bridge. The underwater observation section consists of 6 seats and is provided with proper lighting. According to Puzzolante, floating hotels are not a ship but only operate along the most exciting beaches in the world.
