The lobster is bigger than the hand

A Welsh fisherman was surprised when he found the huge suspicion of a lobster about 50 years old.

Fishermen Shaun Krijnen discovered the nearly 20cm long as he was pulling the oyster nets off the island of Anglesey in northern Wales, Sun said on November 14. The body is larger than an adult's hand and strong enough to crush a can of water or break a wrist.

"I found the giant one when it was scooping the last batch. I couldn't believe its size. I founded an oyster catch company 23 years ago and found big lobster hatcheries, but not yet. there is something this big, " Shaun said.

Shaun also picked up the shrimp's armor, a large piece of shell covering his shrimp from the back of his head to the tip of the tail.

Lobster grows through molting. They replace the entire crust by absorbing water, causing both body size to increase, then pushing away the old crust. After replacing the shell, the whole body is covered by a new thin shell. In about 6-8 weeks waiting for the crust to harden, lobsters often have to hide themselves from the enemy because now they are very vulnerable to attack.

The largest record for lobster in Europe belongs to an individual caught off the coast of Fowey, Cornwall, England in 1931. The prawn is 124cm long from the tail to the tail and weighs 9.3kg.

"The bigger a lobster, 187mm, is big. I have never seen any such big one. We have met the shrimps with 150-160mm in length, but you are 187 mm longer than a true lobster. " Dr. Charlie Ellis, researcher at the National Lobster Breeding Camp in Padstow, said.

"There is no reliable way to calculate lobster age because they recreate all tissues, but based on size, I think it must be at least 50 years old and weigh about 8kg," Dr. Ellis speculated.
