Over the past 5 years, conservation concerns as well as sanctions to save the survival of tigers have been significantly raised. However, tigers are still "permanent" in the Red Book.

The world has 9 species of tigers but only 6 species exist: Belgan tiger, Indochinese tiger, Malay tiger, Sumantra tiger, Siberian tiger and Southern tiger tiger, 3 extinct species are Bali tiger, Java tiger and Caspia tiger .

Siberian tiger - the species most at risk of extinction

Living in the Siberian and Russian regions, the tiger tigers are called wild Siberian tigers. They are also known as "The Lord of Taiga". In addition, Siberian tigers also have other names such as Amur tigers, Ussuri tigers or Manchurian tigers.

The Siberian Tiger is the world's largest cat family, averaging about 350kg, 1.7 meters high with thick fur and large yellowish stripes. The record of their weight is recorded at 390kg.

The Siberian Tiger is one of the 10 most endangered species in the world because of illegal hunting. The cold winter in Siberia prolongs the depleted food source that threatens the life of this species, not only that the lakes are close to where people live to earn a living are more likely to be trapped by poachers.

Death sentence for killing tigers

The current number of species in the wild is about 400, mainly in Russia's Siberian region and about 10–17 live in northeastern China. Because of this degree of scarcity, Chinese law can issue death sentences against those who kill tigers. Earlier this year, Kang Wannian in Yunnan China was sentenced to 12 years in prison for killing and eating a tiger.

In order to save the survival of Siberian tigers, humans have taken them to conservation areas for care and reproduction. In China, first-time zoologists successfully fertilized tigers in 2007. After this success, scientists plan to establish a gene bank of Siberian tigers for three years to ensure genetic diversity for this species.

The harsh punishment of China's species conservation efforts has brought about good results. Also in 2007, from March to June, there were 84 Siberian tiger tigers born, partly to repel the species' risk of extinction.

The unfortunate thing that we cannot intervene is that the tiger cubs born in captivity will never be able to adapt back to the wild environment.

The tiger is gradually disappearing due to the dramatic change in habitat and illegal hunting. Any tiger that grows in any area is hunted wildly.

Each of us is not a zoologist, but can still join hands to protect tigers by not consuming and reporting illegal cases of tiger or tiger fur etc.
