The BBC has just published photos of the rare Siberian tiger in Russia's Far East, which is in serious danger.

The BBC's documentary crew said that Siberian tigers (aka Amur tigers) are seriously threatened.The team went to Russia's Far East to document scientists' efforts to conserve the species.

An estimated 350 tigers live in the wild world and 90% of them are around the Sikhote Alin area, west of the Japanese sea and east of the Amur river.

The Siberian tiger project is primarily concerned with monitoring and maintaining health for this rare animal.It also includes activities to release animals that are cared for after being returned to wild life like Zoluschka in photos.They hope this will make the number of tigers increase.

The team helps the tigers in danger.Specifically, this tiger was rescued by them after discovering it was attacked by a dog near the town.In their data, it has two brothers and researchers organized an activity to find "family members" for the little animal.

Experts assume that hungry tiger cubs lose their mothers early, so they must hunt. " We found that 33 tigers were killed or moved away from the Russian area or disappeared due to poaching during February 2012-February 2013," Dr. Miquelle said.

The Siberian Tiger is the largest of these fierce animals.They can develop a 3m long body from the nose to the tail.This animal gradually adapted to life in the cold winter, unlike life thousands of miles away from its relatives in India, China and Indonesia.
