The most dangerous super volcano Earth can

The largest volcanic eruption in this planet's history may appear.

500 years ago, the super volcano Campi Flegrei in Italy exploded, "sprayed" tons of lava, and a thick column of black smoke covered the sky for 8 consecutive days. It even created a new mountain, from the layer of rock that lava erupted. That mountain is called Monte Nuovo .

But now, experts are worried that the super volcano will once again explode, when the pressure here has continued to increase during the past 67 years without any sign of stopping. And calculations show that this may be the biggest eruption in Earth's history.

"When studying how the rock layer broke and shifted at Campi Flegrei, we believe that this place is approaching the most serious phase, any impact can trigger an explosion. authorities must prepare for this " - Christopher Kilburn from University College London said.

For those who do not know, super volcanoes are not ordinary volcanoes. It is not like a mountain, which spreads over the ground, creating a volcanic geological area like the Yellowstone Range (America's largest volcanic mountain range).

Super volcano was formed when an ordinary volcano spewed too much lava, causing it to collapse itself. What remained was a giant crater, with vents, vents and sulfuric acid.

With Campi Flegrei, this super volcano stretches to 100km 2 , from the west of Naples. It has 24 craters, along with some mountains submerged under the Mediterranean Sea. In the past, Campi Flegrei had two major eruptions - 35,000 years ago, and 12,000 years ago - the same smaller explosion in 1538.

But that is not all. Campi Flegrei was formed 200,000 years ago, and the reason is because of a massive, massive volcanic collapse, that experts also tried to incorporate the extinction of the Neanderthals.

If so, see that Campi Flegrei once had really terrible anecdotes. And according to experts, the energy level here is accumulating and about to reach the boom stage.

"We do not know how long this unrest will last, but Campi Flegrei is following the trend we anticipated in other volcanoes," Kilburn said.

"We are very close to predicting the eruption of the long-frozen mountains".

Unfortunately, no one has yet to predict exactly when the super volcano officially erupted, because it depends on the amount of magma boiling at a depth of up to 3,000 meters from the center of the mountain.

If this amount of magma reaches its peak, the volcano will explode, and that will affect at least 360,000 people in the neighborhood, and nearly 1 million people around the Naples range.
