An Egyptian archaeologist has just discovered a strange underground maze near one of the most famous Pyramid sites.

The Egyptian city of Saqarra is famous for having the Djoser Pyramid, also known as the Terraced Pyramid , built in the 27th century BC. The 6-storey structure related to the last ancient civilization is known as the location that hides more mysterious findings.

Dr. Hughes described how Mariette spent months clearing the way, packing the sphinxes to Paris and on November 12, 1851 finally reached the mysterious underground entrance that the sphinx led him to. .

Inside them they find a huge tomb. Hughes explained why it was the center of ancient Egypt. Bettany Hughes said: 'This is a palace for the dead'.

The coffins were discovered in a huge maze, made of very strong granite.

To find out what is hidden inside, the team used dynamite to open a giant coffin. In the end, the archaeological team was surprised to discover that there was a giant marinated cow inside.

They realized that the ancient Egyptians built these giant coffins and the whole area had an underground cemetery for large mummified cows.
