Photo taken on September 20 from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope shows bright red infrared light emanating from the Helix Nebula , symbol NGC 7293 , 700 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Water Carrier Aquarius , by Space Fellowship.

The two-light-diameter dust and gas that surrounds the white dwarf in Helix's center is evaluated by astronomers as a prime example of a planetary nebula , showing the final stage in the evolution of stars similar to the Sun. However, a bright red light in a photo taken by Spitzer glass emanated from a disk of dust produced by collisions between celestial bodies in the Kuiper belt of the solar system or in the Oort comet cloud.

The Helix Nebula is a multi-layered cloud of gas that emits many ultraviolet rays with a temperature of up to 120,000 degrees Celsius. Helix consists mainly of hydrogen and nitrogen gas. There are many active young stars in this nebula system.
