The oldest condom in the world
The oldest surviving contraceptive device in the world has been put on display at the Austrian museum. This reusable condom dates from 1640 and is still intact.
According to the ancient author's written Latin guide, users should dip a condom into a cup of hot milk before using it to prevent infection.
This unique ancient object is found in Lund, Sweden and made with pig intestines. It is also among 250 sex-related antiques that are on display in the Tirolean Museum in Austria this summer.
