The rare black moon phenomenon will appear on the evening of September 30

A rare astronomical event called "black moon" will appear on this Friday night (September 30) and will make the sky of the Western Hemisphere dark as dark as night 30.

Those who live in the Eastern Hemisphere must wait until the next month to witness this rare event and maybe it will coincide with Halloween. We have many different types of moons such as blood moon, blue moon, super moon, but the black moon is still a very new definition and scientists are still working on it.

The third full moon in a season (one of the four full moons) is called the blue moon as in the farmer's Farm Calendar.Black moon is the second new moon in a month. Blue moon is the second full moon in a month.

Some cultures claim that the black moon only happens about once every 19 years, when there is no full moon in February. The upcoming black moon will take place at 8:11 am 5:11 Pacific time on Friday 30 September for people living in the Western hemisphere, including North and South America.

For Eastern Hemisphere (Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia), the black moon will appear next month, on October 30 or 31, depending on where you live.

So what will the Black Moon look like?It will completely disappear in the sky and make the night lightless. A few days later, you will see a crescent-shaped silver moon in the sky.
