The smallest USB drive has a security function
Netac launched a series of USB drives called OnlyDisk U220, with dimensions of 5.5 x 13.5 x 55 mm equipped with content security functions. This is considered the smallest USB flash drive in the world with this function.

Weighing just 13 g, Netac's OnlyDisk U220 is equipped with encryption technology that allows the PC to recognize it as two removable drives on the "My Computer" folder, one in normal mode and one in secure mode. .
Users can specify part of the drive's capacity to be secure and the rest can open normally, or choose to secure the entire drive, ie there is no part for free access.
This USB drive allows the owner to set the number of retries to limit the password, and will lock the data, refusing access if the password is entered too many times. After that, the drive must be erased using the new unlock utility mode to free up storage space.
OnlyDrive U220 series drive will be compatible with operating systems Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / XP / Server 2003, Mac OS9.x / X and Linux 2.4x. If using USB 2.0 port, it reaches data transfer rate up to 9.5 Mbps.
The drive also supports USB 1.1 port and achieves 1.2 Mb / s faster access speed than regular USB 1.1 drives. U220 supports BIOS boot like USB-ZIP or USB-HDD.
These drives are priced at 23.99, 29.99 and 49.99 pounds respectively, with versions of 512 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB (VAT included).
