The telescope was resumed by lightning

The Mauna Kea telescope was struck by lightning two months ago after it was repaired.

Mauna Kea is owned by University of Hawaii, can be operated again from the evening of August 17 after being fixed again.

"We have repaired telescopes and sub-systems and believe that Hilo, Manoa, America and Europe can be observed," said Haiwaii University Colin Aspin.

The final problem, however, is that the electronic card helps synchronize the 2.2m glass dome movement and the glass still fails.

Mauna Kea was unable to operate at the end of June because thousands of lightning bolts were recorded in the state's sky.

Mauna Kea, a telescope installed 41 years ago, is the largest telescope set on Hawaii volcano Mauna Kea.

In the 1990s, astronauts used Mauna Kea to explore the existence of the Kuiper belt with a large number of asteroids, an area outside of Neptune. Until now Pluto is still considered the largest planet of the Kuiper belt.
