The temple predicts the future of the ancients
Scientists unearthed three temples, possibly a place for ancient astrological activity, in a hilltop fort in the Republic of Armenia.
According to archaeological groups, temples date to about 3,300 years. The dominant class used them for the rite of predicting the future. Each temple is a single room with a clay basin, containing pottery pots and ash.

Many other archaeological sites have been discovered here, such as clay statues with horns, seals, vases used to burn ritual materials and animal bones. People of this period often burned objects and drank alcohol while performing rituals.
"The logic of astrological activity, past, present and future is interconnected, opening up the ability to connect between the current situation and the results that can be changed" , Adam Smith and Jeffrey Leon writes in the American Journal of Archeology.
Here, Smith and Leon also find evidence of three anticipated future rites . In it, Osteomancy is a predictive form of ritual with animal bones like the elbow bones of cows, sheep and goats. The second way is Lithomancy , using colorful stones. In the remaining temple, the archaeological group discovered tools for grinding flour in the Aleuromancy rite.

According to Live Science, the fortress in Gegharot is one of the strongholds built in Armenia and may be the center of belief of the ruling regime during this period. However, the name and the leaders of that institution are still a mystery.
