The ugliest hybrid animals on Earth

Curly haired pig, spider-tailed snake, gerbil ... are animals

Nature is always likened to a great artist. Over the course of evolution, millions of species have been fortunate to be molded by Mother Nature with their own "ensure no touch" .

However, somewhere in the wild world, we still encounter some "black" animals. Looking at those species, many people will have the feeling that nature creates them by crossing some animals together.

1. Jumping mouse = mouse + rabbit + kangaroo

The gerbil, also known as the desert mouse, has the scientific name Gerbillinae, which lives mainly in arid climates in Africa and India.

They possess a monstrous appearance with long rabbit ears, a mouse's face and body, and long and strong legs like a kangaroo.

Although the appearance is somewhat unfortunate compared to other species, jumping rats possess very special abilities. Long legs help them hopscotch like kangaroos.

This is the simplest and most effective way to overcome significant distances in the desert because sand is a very easy surface to sink and difficult to walk.

Another striking feature of gerbils is the huge disproportionate size between small body and oversized ears.

But this is an evolutionary advantage because this feature helps this species dissipate heat to the air faster, lowering body heat better than short-eared creatures.

2. Spider tail = spider and snake

First discovered in 1968 in western Iran, the scientifically recognized Persian snake, Pseudocerastes urarachnoides, has raised doubts about the existence of an unusual hybrid.

The reason is that this snake has a strange tail, which at first glance looks very much like a large spider.

For years, scientists have been constantly researching to find out why this snake has such a distorted tail.

In 2009, a research team released the young bird into a snake cage and observed. After half an hour, the pecked-out bird on the tail resembled a spider, but soon after, he was pinned and pulled towards the snake's head, becoming a good bait.

Thereby, biologists concluded that the spider's tail of this species has the effect of attracting and seducing their prey.

3. Mangalista curly hair pig = sheep + pig

Mangalista is a special hybrid pig breed with a special "curly-haired" pig that possesses a thick and curly coat like sheep's wool.

According to many historical documents, this is a hybrid breed between wild pigs and pigs raised in Hungary. This hybrid process accidentally created Mangalista - one of the best meat pigs in the world.

During the nineteenth century, their meat was reserved only and supplied to Austrian and Hungarian nobles. They are very popular among the elite because of their delicious meat and special fat.

The fat of this breed is highly appreciated by chefs around the world thanks to its special taste. In addition, the fleece of Mangalista pigs also has a very high use value.

4. Sea butterflies = snails + moths

The animal looks like the hybrid of a snail with this firefly called Thecosomata, which is smaller than a grain of sand.

They feed by creating a layer of mucus used to catch food. Scientists say the life of exotic sea butterflies is threatened by changes in the acidity of the sea.

5. Porcupine grasshopper = grasshopper + porcupine

The porcupine grasshopper that lives in this Amazon forest area makes us feel surprised when we encounter it because of our very special appearance.

On the body of this locust, countless thorns were extremely sharp. But contrary to the bizarre appearance, porcupine grasshoppers are extremely gentle, mostly eating grass and sometimes eating some small insects.

Although this species is quite gentle, but you should not try to touch them by the spikes of grasshoppers hedge so sharp that they can pierce skin anyone touched.
