Dot Bi Lake is a rare alkaline salt water lake. With a length of 0.7km and a width of 0.25km, the lake is located in a desert climate, surrounded by rocky hills. The colorful puddles are the result of a high concentration of minerals, including calcium, sodium sulphate, and magnesium sulphate.
