The US developed a drug to help diagnose breast cancer early

Scientists at the University of Michigan (USA) are developing a drug that can help diagnose early. Currently, mouse experiments on this drug have been successful.

This study opens a good prospect for early detection of cancerous tumors.

According to research published in Molecular Pharmaceutics, the scientists conducted experiments on mice with breast cancer. They attached the fluorescent molecule to the tablet, which glows when exposed to infrared.

After that, they gave these special pills to mice. The medicine will permeate into the stomach, the liver and blood vessels and tumors will glow when infrared rays shine throughout the body.

This study opens a good prospect for early detection. By analyzing more closely the types of molecules on the surface of tumor cells, doctors can better distinguish between benign tumors and malignant tumors.

Breast cancer is quite common in women, and even in men. Every year, tens of millions of women are screened for breast cancer screening in the United States.
