Have you ever imagined how slow a shot of a bullet split by a sword or knife would actually be in reality?

According to Gizmodo, Slow Mo Guys YouTube channel tested such a video to see exactly what happened when a bullet went high speed and was split apart by a sharp knife.

However, instead of using large guns and bullet sizes, Slow Mo Guys used only a small gun. This is also a safe way to protect expensive slo-motion cameras in many unexpected situations. In front is a sharp knife, behind it are two balloons to better see the path of the split bullet.

Experiencing quite a lot of tests and errors, the experiment was finally successful. At 28,500 frames per second, we can see the close-up bullet exploding two balloons behind.
