The wild, mysterious beauty of God's abandoned homes

Photographer Roman Robroek for three years has traveled throughout Europe to make a series of photos of the magnificent abandoned churches.

In these photos, Roman Robroek tried to use a variety of ways to portray the natural beauty of the "Lord's houses" , churches that were abandoned long ago.(Source Bored Panda).

According to him, these abandoned churches are often very old and carry a whole period of history and ups and downs.(Source Bored Panda).

To each church, Roman sees a clear difference in building architecture.He felt this was wonderful and believed that every old church had its own mysterious story.(Source Bored Panda).

During the 3-year process of traveling across Europe to record images of forgotten churches, Roman photographers also faced many obstacles, once injuring a rusty iron nail.(Source Bored Panda).

There are long abandoned churches completely open, visitors can enter and exit freely.(Source Bored Panda).

However, there are still churches despite being forgotten by time but still locked carefully, waiting for the rebuilding day.(Source Bored Panda).

There are churches far away and the traffic to get there is not convenient.However, because of passion, Roman photographer is determined to go and record these precious documentary images.(Source Bored Panda).
