The world's smallest desktop computer of China

Little computer maker Giada (China) claims to have produced the world's smallest desktop computer only slightly larger than the CD case but with all the functions and connections of a PC authentic.

This microcomputer is 150x148x21mm in size and weighs 500g. The appearance of the tiny Giada brand PC makes Acer Aspire Revo, one of the popular compact computers today, have to 'inhale' the microcosm.

Giada's world's smallest PC has two versions, i30 and i32. Both versions use Intel Atom processor, 2GB RAM and 320GB hard drive.

Although these computers are only slightly larger than the CD case, Giada still 'stuffs' an Atom processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 320GB hard drive, two USB ports, a USB combo port. 2.0 / eSATA, a memory card reader, an HDMI and VGA port.

In addition, it has a GbE Lan port, Bluetooth and 802.11n Wi-Fi plus mic speakers and jacks. The amount of power it consumes is only 20w, with two energy-saving light bulbs.

Giada said the computer will have a noise-proof stand of only 26dB to ensure smooth operation in many cases.

Both the Giada i30 and i32 will cost at least $ 300 including a remote control, an HDMI cable but will not have the keyboard, mouse or operating system attached.

An AMD version using the E350 dual-core Zacate chip will be released in mid-2011 with the same price.
