Charlotte Garside likes to play with dolls and toys like any other 3 year old girl. But with a height of only 55.88 cm, I am smaller than many dolls, and only equal to a newborn baby.

Charlotte was born with a congenital (microcephalic osteodysplastic primordial dwarfism) disorder - a genetic disorder that makes people with the disease not develop in normal size.

Doctors believe that the world only 150-200 people fall into such a situation.

According to Mirror, little Charlotte - living with her family in Withernsea (UK) - must wear doll clothes when she is first born, because even clothes for preterm children do not fit her.

Emma Newman, 28, her mother, recalled that she could only carry Charlotte when she placed her in a pea bag because she was too fragile, weighing only 478 grams when she was four weeks early.

Despite such a small body, Charlotte was still a happy and optimistic child. " She is always smiling, " the mother said. At first, she and her husband only saw that their daughter was too small, but three months later, the diagnosis discovered her congenital dwarfism.

Charlotte couldn't eat and digest normal food, instead, she was fed with formula milk through a tube connected to her stomach. She knew crawling, but could not walk without support, because her heel ligaments were too tight.

Now Charlotte is still big, but at a slower pace than her peers. In 12 months, I only increased 250 grams and did not speak, even though the words " mam mam " were pronounced and " bab bab " refers to mom and dad.
