The tallest girl in the world suddenly died at age 24

The tallest girl in the world of Thai people died at the age of 24 because of illnesses related to her "terrible" height on August 27 last.

Malee Duangdee , 2m12 tall girl, was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest woman in the world, who suddenly died of a heart attack at a hospital in her home province of Trat.

Doctors said Malee's death was the result of a long process when she had to fight chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, heart disease and a brain tumor.

Malee was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age nine. This causes hormonal imbalance that keeps her growing. Every 3 months, Malee has to inject a nose worth more than $ 2,500 to control her growth. The expensive treatment made her family difficult.

Before his death, Malee lived with his family in Bo Rai district, Trat province, Thailand and worked at a rubber plantation. The height not only entailed health problems but also affected Malee's spirit when she was teased by her friends, afraid of not being able to marry because of her "abnormal" height and had to go through a time of loneliness when going to school.

Malee's death occurred less than a year after the tallest man in Thailand, Pornchai Saosri, died at the age of 26. This 2m57 tall man also died from many diseases related to his height. I include high blood pressure.

Pornchai and Malee met each other in December 2013, when the two went to see a doctor to hear their medical advice at Bangkok's Ramathibodi Hospital.
