Rumeysa was 2.13m tall in 2014 when he was 17 years old and was recognized by the Guinness World Records as "the tallest girl in the world" right in his home town of Safranbolu, Karabük, Turkey. After two years, Rumeysa's height did not change and she kept that title.

Unusual from the womb

Ms. Safiye Gelgi - mother of Rumeysa - said she gave birth to a daughter six weeks before expected, because doctors found the baby to be larger than usual.

"In the early stages of pregnancy, she was like a newborn baby. The doctor said Rumeysa developed differently, so I gave birth to a 7.5-month-old baby," recalled Ms. Safiye.

As Rumeysa grew older, the disease became more apparent through the body. The height of 9X surpasses that of peers, neck and face are also unusually large, not balanced with people.

Rumeysa's hands and feet are now 24.5cm and 30.5cm respectively. In addition to Weaver's disease, she has scoliosis.

Rumeysa oversized shoes are all reserved in the US by the family. She owns a wheelchair and a specialized walker because she cannot move on her own. In addition, 9X does not sit in the car seat so the family designed a bed exclusively for her in the car.

Happy because special

Difficult in living, but the mockery about new looks really made the 19-year-old girl suffer many injuries.
