Due to too many disagreements and objections, in the near future there will still not be a group of .xxx domains reserved for 'sex sites'. The source has been confirmed by the international domain name management organization Icann.

At the proposal of the US Department of Commerce, Icann is still studying and receiving comments on setting up this domain name after the idea was launched in August 2005.

In an effort to plan new domain clusters to simplify the management process, in late 2004 Icann agreed to use 4 new domain clusters including mobile services (.mobi), the job market. (.jobs), postal services (.post) and travel services (.travel).
