Tiny wild cat resilient to female lion lions
Before the lion rival was 30 times larger, kittens still bared their teeth, showing off their claws ready to fight for life.
Before the lion rival was 30 times larger, kittens still bared their teeth, showing off their claws ready to fight for life.
The heroic images of kittens were captured by German photographer Claudia Hopf in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Wildlife Park in the Republic of Bostwana.
The photographer said she did not understand why the small wild cat lied in the circle of four female lions. Photos show that prey is too small compared to the power of lions so it doesn't seem like they have to spend much effort.
However, kittens do not show fear, still baring their teeth, spreading their fangs, looking at the enemy with challenging eyes. According to the natural law, the wild cat was eventually taken by a lion and stabbed elsewhere.
