Ly Tu Trong
: Hero Ly Tu Trong (1914-1931) was born in Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province. At the age of 10, Ly Tu Trong participated in revolutionary activities. In 1931, during a rally to commemorate the Yen Bai uprising in Saigon, Ly Tu Trong shot dead secret agent Le Grand to protect speaker Phan Boi. Kim Dong:
His real name is Nong Van Den (1929-1943), a Nung ethnic, from Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province. At the age of 12, Kim Dong participated in revolutionary activities, doing the task of communicating, transporting the Viet Minh and delivering letters. During a communication trip in 1943, when the officers were in a meeting, he discovered that the French and Kim Dong had distracted the soldiers so that his friends could bring the troops back to the base safely. As they ran across the stream, the French opened fire. Kim Dong died by the Lenin stream (Cao Bang), when he was just 14 years old.
