Transport vessel Progress M-08M successfully assembled ISS

The Russian Space Flight Control Center said that at 2036 (local time) on October 30, Russia's M-08M Progress Transport vessel, launched October 27 from the Universe Airport. Baikonur pillar in Kazakhstan, successfully assembled with the International Space Station (ISS).

Transport M-08M transport vessel carries over 2.5 tons of goods including food, water and fuel for six astronauts; in which three Russians and three Americans are doing scientific research on ISS.

According to the Russian Space Flight Control Center, ISS is currently moving around orbit 350km from Earth.

The Progressive M-08M transport ship is the 5th Progress transport vessel and is finally launched this year. The new generation of progressive transport ships is lighter in weight and equipped with a modern digital control system that allows the ship to assemble with ISS more accurately.
