Typhoon Nangka (Indonesian meaning jackfruit) approached Japan and caused heavy rain from July 16. The storm has weakened, but the wind speed is still 120 km / h, according to Reuters. The storm will continue to cause heavy rain for many other areas of Japan from today until tomorrow 18.7.

Local officials evacuated 100,000 people living in western Japan because of their life-threatening floods and landslides. Before the storm came, local authorities called for evacuation of 400,000 people to avoid storms.

It is predicted that the typhoon will continue to rage in the Japanese coast region later today and weaken until July 19 when crossing the northeastern region.
