Annie Jacobson, an investigative reporter for Los Angles Times magazine, has published a book about many US military secrets, including the UFO crash in 1947 that caused a stir among world opinion.

Jacobson's book is named AREA 51: An History of America's Top Secret Military Base (translated as Area 51: America's uncovered secret military base ).

Area 51 is a signal of a military base in southern Nevada, USA and about 130 km from Las Vegas. The center of the base is a large military airport. The US military built this base to test new aircraft and weapons.

To write the book, Jacobson interviewed dozens of people who worked in 'area 51', including many pilots, scientists and engineers. Among the stories Jacobson saw a lot of interesting information about the UFO event falling near the city of Roswell, New Mexico state 64 years ago.

The book confirms that in fact strange objects are just a Soviet-made spy plane . The pilots who controlled the aircraft were only in their teens. Jacobson did not give a reason for the plane to fall.

In July 1947, an unidentified object (UFO) fell near Roswell, New Mexico, USA. Photographs after the fall show that it is a disc-shaped object. The US government explained that the falling object was a weather forecast balloon. However, because the US authorities did not publish enough information, the media and the world opinion surmised that the alien-carrying saucer had suffered near Roswell.

A memorandum announced by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) claims that the ' Roswell flying saucer event in 1947 ' may be true. The memorandum was written in 1950 by Guy Hottel, in charge of the FBI office in Washington. It was later transferred to the FBI director.

In addition to the "flying saucer" near Roswell, Jacobson's book also helps readers better understand the many secret US military programs in the last century - such as the U-2 unmanned reconnaissance aircraft, the F-117 stealth bombing engine, training cats and pigeons into spies.
