Unstoppable Copier - 'rescue' emergency data for damaged hard drive
Hard disk drives are common computer data storage devices, but unfortunately, any hard drive after a period of use is also damaged, losing data. The cause of damage can be electric shock, virus infection or read / write head which scratches on the surface of the disk . If it is important data, people often have backup and backup mode (backup ), in case of disc damage. But if it is not enough to prevent it, sometimes we leave many precious 'go' things together with the hard drive, so bad! However, things may be different now if you have Unstoppable Copier. In case of not copying data using Windows Explorer or Dos, Unstoppable Copier can 'save' you.
Unstoppable Copier is only 61 KB in size, you do not need to install, just activate the unstopcp.exe file when using. The program interface is quite simple, including 2 main cards, Copy and Settings. Unstoppable Copier's task is to try to find the data on the non-corrupted sectors and copy to another drive for you. Retrieved files may not be intact, but 'how much or how much' is the goal of Unstoppable Copier.
Unstoppable Copier is executing the order
To perform the "rescue" of the data, install the damaged hard drive to the computer (thanks to another Unstoppable Copier computer), then start the machine and "run" the program. In the ' Source ' box, type the drive letter that is corrupted, if you do not know the drive name, click the ' Browse ' button to access the failed drive and click OK . In the ' Target ' box, type the drive letter or folder containing the recovered data, you can click the ' Browse ' button (of the Target box) to find the folder containing the data, then click the ' Copy ' button.
You can go to ' Settings ' to edit the default configuration of the program as you like:
- Copy previous intact files ( Undamaged Files First ).
- Remove, do not copy damaged files ( Auto Skip Damaged Files ).
- Keep date / time created and edited on file ( Keep File Date / Time ).
- Copy the raw part in the file, remove the broken part ( Resume Partial Files ).
- Try to repeat the copy command (multiple times) if it fails the first time ( Set Maximum Retries ).
Unstoppable Copier is compatible with Win 9x / ME / NT / 2K / XP / 2K3, download and use free version 3.0 Beta at http://www.roadkil.net/downloads/unstopcp.zip.
