Upgrade GoogleTalk

After a successful "reform" of connecting messaging networks (IM) with GoogleTalk, Google continues its development path for its inferior messaging program with the addition of additional features. Keep up with the 'elder' like Yahoo Messenger and AIM.

In this new version 1.0.0.91, GoogleTalk is upgraded with new features such as:

* Add user avatars, allow the use of several avatars available or choose your own avatar by way of images on the device.

* When hovering over the chat nick list, there will be a dialog box displaying information about that account. The Add / View button is also added to help users add or view other chat friends

* 9 theme styles for users to choose from when chatting

* The message display section can be closed by clicking the Close button

* Links during chat will not have an underscore until you hover over them

* If user changes 'status' during chat, 'status' will be displayed quickly

According to the current review, GoogleTalk has good Internet quality but it is still not comparable to Skype. In addition, the disadvantage of GoogleTalk is that it does not encode conversation and call content. So if the conversation is selected, it will be easily used by others. It seems that GoogleTalk has to go a long way to catch up with Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger or AIM Triton.

Another noteworthy news is that Microsoft 's Windows Messenger Live online messenger has just been released as a final (Final) version with a pretty interface and many improved functions from the trial, helping the' Live 'family. Microsoft became the focal point to attract quite a lot of users.
