USAID helps protect equipment against bird flu

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) said on April 26 the agency provided US $ 50,000 worth of protective equipment to medical staff, laboratory workers and attendees. participating in the prevention of avian influenza in Vietnam.
These protective equipment include glasses, masks, gloves, bodywear and cleaning equipment.
The number of equipment is part of a program to provide personal protective equipment for 5 Southeast Asian countries by the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance of USAID.
