NASA's IceBridge campaign has just provided some aerial footage of ice sheets on the two polar regions on Earth.
In addition to promoting human understanding of aerospace, NASA also implemented large-scale science projects on Earth, which IceBridge program is an example. This is a six-year project designed to give scientists an unprecedented 3D view of both the Arctic and Antarctic.
What will be collected will help the scientists better understand the ice sheets, providing more information about climate change that is affecting both polar regions.
