According to Business Insider, "the snake of Pharaoh" is an interesting sight observed in the chemical reaction when burning Mercury (II) thiocyanate. The video recorded by Nile Red account posted on Youtube two years ago attracted more than 1.2 million views. However, the video author advises not to test at home because Mercury (II) thiocyanate is an extremely toxic chemical.
