A lucky diver caught the unusual sea cucumber in the waters off Egypt.

Divers Vitaly Bazarov recorded the image of a sea ​​cucumber belonging to the family Synapta maculate synaptidae with an incredibly long body that was feeding on the Red Sea bottom in Egypt, Caters News reported on July 18.

The sea cucumber has a size of "terrible" discovered by divers.

According to Vitaly, sea cucumbers are quite common in the Red Sea, but specimens about 1.5 meters long are rare. However, the size of the sea cucumber does not make the stray lion fish swim around with it.

Synapta maculate synaptidae is a sea cucumber family with a long body and rich size, can grow to 5 meters. They are quite dynamic, moving by shrinking peristaltic waves. They often eat decomposing organic matter at the bottom of the sea, clean up the crumbs, help clean the ocean, Vitaly said.
