Video: Speedboat travels more than 500km in half an hour in Mexico
Mexloop's transport system is expected to shorten the current travel time between two central Mexican cities from 6 hours to 40 minutes.
Mexloop system.
The idea of a 531km hyperloop system called Mexloop was introduced in central Mexico to connect 4 cities: Mexico City, Quertaro, Len and Guadalajara.
Travel time between the two cities is reduced to about 38 minutes compared to the current 6-hour drive. Mexloop station will be located near traffic hubs to maximize the performance of the infrastructure.
Mexloop's cost is expected to be only two-thirds of the cost of high-speed trains.
