Vietnam cooperates with NASA on the universe

This morning, the Vietnam Institute of Science and Technology (VAST) and the US Space and Aeronautics Agency (NASA) signed a joint statement on the intention to cooperate in civil aviation and space operations.

Mr. Michael F. O'Brien, NASA Deputy Director of International Relations and Intergovernmental Relations and Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai, Vice President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), represented two the signing party for the above cooperation.

Accordingly, the two sides signed an agreement on the application of space technology in socio-economic development, disaster disaster, climate change, exchange of satellite observation data, human resource development. , the Vietnamese youth education program understands the applicability of space technology.

NASA representatives said they are willing to share information so that Vietnamese scientists can use data in scientific activities and applications in socio-economic development.

"By signing this joint declaration agreement, NASA will help Vietnam access to space technologies to control natural disasters such as tsunamis, landslides, pollution control of the marine environment, especially focusing on integration.
