Wildlife parks will be built to conserve, rescue and store genetic resources of wildlife species for scientific research, training, environmental education combined with ecotourism.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has just approved the overall scheme of building a National Wildlife Park in Ninh Binh province. Accordingly, the National Wildlife Park was built in Ky Phu and Phu Long communes, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province with a scale of more than 1,100 ha. The total investment capital is about VND 7,300 billion, of which socialized capital is more than VND 5.2 billion (71.2%); The state budget is more than VND 2,100 billion (28.8%).

The objective of the Scheme is to preserve, save and develop about 3,000 individuals of 250 animal species, organize to raise animals in semi-natural environment, create scenes and facilities for scientific research. , training domestic and international students and students on wildlife conservation and development. At the same time, develop eco-tourism, convalescence, entertainment, environmental education and natural resources; attracting about 5 million visitors a year, increasing revenue for the state budget .

National Wildlife Park construction project consisting of main subdivisions: Ecological green zone; Wildlife area; Division of care - research and development of wild animals; Service center subdivision; Entertainment, subdivision and public service area, housing staff and services.

In which, the area of ​​wildlife will be the focus of the project with an area of ​​over 400 ha and is organized according to the typical landscape models of the regions in the world such as the African desert, the South America and Asian tropical jungle areas.
