Vietnam responded to the world environmental day

Today (June 5), together with many countries in the world, Vietnam implements practical activities to respond to the World Environment Day.

With the theme 'Take action to prevent sea level rise' , this is an opportunity for communities, individual organizations across the planet to act together to protect the environment, protect biodiversity, reduce minimizing the effects of climate change, for our own lives and future.

This year's World Environment Day is organized in combination with the activities of Vietnam National Sea and Island Week.

In this morning, a national rally will be held in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the World Environment Day by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and ministries, branches and domestic environmental organizations. international coordination organization.

Immediately after the rally is activities such as: to collect garbage, plant trees, improve the environment in all 24 districts of the city. Besides, there is also an exchange of experiences on environmental management, solid waste treatment, domestic wastewater, photo exhibitions, cycling for the environment, recycling festival days, dredging ponds and canals. .

In 63 provinces and cities will also simultaneously take place activities to encourage sustainable consumption communities, using environmentally friendly energy, technology and products.
