After launching for 15 minutes, the altitude increased rapidly: 1,270 km, speed more than 9 km / s. The rocket is almost perpendicular to the earth.

27th minute, Star One C2 separated from the rocket. Turn the rocket to continue to bring Vinasat-1 to the right position.

Vietnam has " shown national sovereignty over space " - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said shortly after the satellite launch ended. Satellite will be on geostationary orbit at 132 degrees East, with a 15-year operating period.
