Vietnam will attend the World Meteorological Congress
Vietnam will appoint a Government delegation to attend the 16th World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in Geneva, Switzerland from 16 May to 3 June 2011.
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha said the Vietnamese delegation attended the meeting to demonstrate the role, responsibility and protection of interests, as well as enhance international integration in the meteorological field literature, responding to climate change.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is assigned to preside over the contents of this meeting.
The 16th Congress of the World Meteorological Organization is one of the important international events of the hydrometeorology industry worldwide, held every 4 years to consider through decisions and decisions. Development direction and cooperation in this field in the world.
In addition, the conference also focused on exchanging, to export cooperation in the field of climate, providing climate services and responding to global climate change, in WMO framework.
