The conference opened this morning, March 8, 2010 in Paris, France, following the initiative of the French Government in coordination with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and Energy Agency. World Atomic (IAEA).

Delegations from about 62 countries in different continents will attend the conference and participate in discussions on topics that their countries are interested in. Vietnam also accepted the invitation and sent delegations to join.

Delegates consist of many components, such as government policy makers, business representatives, science and technology research agencies .
