VN won 10 medals at the international exhibition on technical innovation
Vietnam Technical Innovation Support Fund (VIFOTEC) said 10 works of Vietnamese students attending international exhibition on creativity for students, in 2006 in Seoul - Korea from July 20 to 24 -2006, all won medals.
In which 3 projects won gold medals, 4 works won silver medals, 3 works won bronze medals and 1 project won the special prize of Thailand Creative Association.
The gold medal constructions include: " Cargo picking robot " of Pham Vien An, Nguyen Binh Phuong, Phan Nhut Hoai Nhut Tin 11th grade, Pham Van Dong High School, Ninh Phuoc, Ninh Thuan; " Garbage robot on the water " of the group: Pham Van Dai, Pham Van Luong, grade 12, Do Son High School, Hai Phong; " Multi-purpose transporter " of the group: Nguyen Trung Dung, grade 9, Yen Son Secondary School, Tam Diep, Ninh Binh.
The International Exhibition of Creativity for Students in 2006 was organized by the Korean Creative Promotion Association (KIPA), VIFOTEC, the standing body of the National Children Youth Contest created by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in coordination with the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized, attracted children of 16 participating countries.
The works of Vietnam participated in this time are the works that won high prizes in the first national youth youth contest in 2005.
