Soputan volcano on Sulawesi island sprayed a huge column of smoke only 5 days after the island experienced a major earthquake and tsunami.
Natural disasters continue to occur in Sulawesi Island, central Indonesia when Soputan volcano "wakes up " this morning, creating a smoke column of 4,000m high in the air, according to RT. Smoke clouds now move west and northwest with a three-level warning issued.

Soputan volcano is 1,809 m above sea level. There are no reports of casualties yet.
Indonesian authorities warned people to keep a distance of 4km from the top of the mountain to avoid the risk of injury from ash and possibly lava flows from volcanoes. People living around volcanoes and neighborhoods are recommended to use masks to minimize breathing problems.
Soputan erupted only five days after the 7.5-magnitude earthquake and the town of Donggala on Sulawesi on September 28. Indonesia's National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNBP) said the number of people killed after the disaster increased to 1,374 and 113 people were still missing.
