Sakurajima volcano erupted ash on July 25.

Sakurajima wakes up at night 24/7. The eruption of one of the most active volcanoes in Japan has caused the ash to cover the streets of Kagoshima, about 2 kilometers from the volcano over Kagoshima Bay.

Local newspapers said that ash had flooded the streets of the city, even some roads had to be closed, and delayed trains.

Kagoshima people must wear masks to avoid inhaling dust every time they go out.

Sakurajima volcano has erupted more than 600 times this year and is expected to continue intermittent eruptions.

Currently, the volcano warning for Sakurajima is at level 3 of 5 levels.

If the warning is raised to level 5, people living near the volcano must evacuate, while level 3 warns people not to get close to the volcano.
