Two exhibitions at Gia Dinh Park, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hoa Binh Park in Hanoi, are part of a series of regular activities held in urban areas in Vietnam this year. The exhibition encourages people to learn about the situation of endangered animals and provide useful ways to protect them.
Participants can watch films about the endangered status of wild animals in Vietnam and participate in answering multiple choice questions on the issues raised in the information boards. In addition, they can share ideas on topics such as raising wild animals and using traditional medicines made from wild animals, in addition to other awareness raising activities.
The two exhibitions also encourage viewers to join the 3,000-member Wild Animal Volunteer Network nationwide. The network allows people to assist in reporting and monitoring violations related to wildlife.
