Talking with Mr. Huynh Dinh Chung, Director of Can Tho City Museum around the life of the crocodile jaw, Mr. Chung said, if based on the size of the newly discovered jaw bone, this crocodile is about 100 age, but if you know more accurately, you must take this jaw bone to the test to know the exact result.

Mr. Chung also said that in the near future, Can Tho City Museum will negotiate with Mr. Ut to quickly bring the crocodile jaw bone to Ho Chi Minh City to assess the lifespan to determine the value of this jaw bone is worth what or not After having accurate results, the skeleton will be exhibited by Can Tho City Museum, displayed for visitors to admire.

However, the owner of the crocodile jaw has not intended to hand over the skeleton to the Can Tho Museum because the two parties have not yet agreed on the price.

The area has long existed many places related to this crocodile such as the creek of Dau Sau, Dau Sau bridge, Vam Dau Sau . The work that Ut saved on the crocodile jaw on the ground reinforced the value. historically for this land, because the area used to have freshwater crocodiles in the past, due to an event of this crocodile species has been extinguished.
