According to Xinhuanet , in 2002, Chinese experts set up archaeological team A Room with the desire to find the remnants of the legendary palace burned by fire. However, the excavation results are out of anticipation. It was impossible to find any trace of being burned at the site for a long time, which was supposed to be of A Palace. In addition, archaeologists also found many pieces of tile in the Han dynasty that appeared at this site, which proved that the A Phong palace existed until the Han Dynasty and the Han dynasty used these pieces to repair Palace?

Since then, Chinese archaeologists have concluded: Cung A Phong has never been burned, and it has been a long time ago for Category Vu.

When this conclusion was published, it caused a lot of controversy. Many people believe that, probably over two thousand years buried, the traces of the fire have almost disappeared. Or maybe archaeologists have unearthed the wrong place (?!).

The archetypal A Phong team does not think so. According to them, another palace is the Truong Lac palace, built in the Han Dynasty, in an era not far from the construction time of A Palace and burned. However, the trail of fires left at the Truong Lac relic is very clear, unlike the site of A Phong.

Regarding excavation positions, this archaeological team said that the location they excavated could not be wrong because it was recorded in many documents. Previously, the most prestigious historical experts in China said that it was the location of the construction of A Phong Palace.

In addition, these archaeologists also said that the only basis for asserting that Vu Vu burned A Phong was the records of the "Historical Records ". However, in this book, Sima Qian only said, Xiang Yu entered Yangyang and 'burned the Qin palace' , not saying Xiang Yu burned A Room. Moreover, according to the records of 'Su Ky' , A Phong Palace is built outside, not inside of Duong Duong.

Archaeologists have also questioned that it is possible to supply A Phong only on the plan, never built.
