Your signal needs to eat more protein
Sweet cravings, broken hair, and frequent illnesses are signs that you are deficient in protein (protein).
1. Sweet cravings
Dawn Jackson Blatner, author of Flexitarian Diet, said one of the first signs that the body is deficient in protein is the craving for sweets and eating never feels enough.
One of the most important functions of protein is to keep blood sugar stable. When you are deficient in protein, blood sugar will have to be shared with all organs, stimulating you to add sugar quickly, so you have a craving for sweetness, like candy. Breakfast with a little cereal will give you instant energy, but then quickly return to its original state. Therefore, to get adequate protein, you should add foods such as beans, meat, and shrimp to your daily diet.

2. A vague mind
The balance of blood sugar is essential for your ability to concentrate. In the absence of protein, the amount of sugar will fluctuate continuously. Blatner says you will feel a little vague, as the feeling of not being able to complete the job well because you don't have enough protein to supply the brain. If you are using a lot of fast food such as biscuits or bread, stop this habit because they will burn your mental energy, accompanied by a vague, languid feeling.
3. Hair loss
Proteins affect all cells, including hair follicles. If your hair follicles are healthy, they will not break, even if they are shocked or affected by the sun and wind. When there are too few nutrients on the scalp, the fibers will begin to thin. This condition can also be a sign of some other problems, such as thyroid problems.
4. You feel weak
We all know that protein is essential for muscle structure. If not provided enough, your muscles may gradually shrink over time. As a result, you feel weak and unable to complete the outstanding work as before.
5. Frequent illness
Biceps and legs are not the only parts that need protein supplementation. Proteins are extremely necessary to make compounds in our immune system. So if you find you have a cold or a more frequent infection than others (despite better health), it's because of a protein deficiency. Another sign is that you often scratch the checkered gills (on the side of the nail). If your skin is not healthy due to a lack of protein, you will notice that the skin is cracked and torn (like scratched gills), making your body more exposed to germs and causing infection.
