It is expected that the world will witness four partial eclipses (on 4/1, 2/6, 1/7 and 25/11) and two full eclipses (on June 16 and December 10).

The record of the number of solar eclipses and lunar eclipses in 2011 will only be broken in 2094. At that time, the world will witness four solar eclipses and three lunar eclipses.

Experts' statistics show that, in one year, the world is witnessed by at most five times or at least twice eclipses, at most three times the eclipse or not.

The maximum number of eclipses and eclipses occurred in one year was seven times as in 1805 and 1935 (five eclipses and two eclipses); in 1982 and 2094 (four solar eclipses and three lunar eclipses).
